Working together to create a better Flood Risk Strategy.

Working together to create a better Flood Risk Strategy.
Our chair Janet Taylor took part in a series of working groups for the Environment Agency Strategy. It looked at where we want to be by 2050 in Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management. LVFF was part of the Protection and Funding and Communities and Business working groups along with many other organisations. Protection and Funding examined “What do we all want to protect and how can we collectively fund it?” The Communities and Business group considered what our expectations should be of statutory bodies, community and business and how the way we work together can be developed and improved. There will be a public consultation in 2019.
