​The sessions held at Morecambe Town Hall were a collaboration between Lune Valley Flood Forum, Lancaster City Council and Cumbria Action for Sustainability. The places were fully funded and provided detailed knowledge of how to refurbish and improve pre 1920s buildings to make them more flood resilient, whilst improving energy efficiency. The trainer James Innerdale is an Architect specialising in repair and conservation of historic buildings and worked for the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.
